Breaking News: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang emerges first Gabonese to win CAF African Footballer of the Year 2016

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has emerged the African Footballer of the Year. 

Gabonese football star, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named the African Player of the Year at the Glo CAF Awards which is ongoing in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja today 7th of January 2016. 

The Borussia Dortmund star and Gabon senior player defeated contenders, Yaya Toure who has won the awards a record 4 times and Andre Ayew to win the award. He had 143 points while Toure, who came second, had 136 points. Ghana’s Andre Ayew came third with 112 points. The 26-year-old is also the first Gabonese player to win the coveted awards...
